BUT THEN….I found out exactly what the pro’s were doing, exactly what strategies they were using, and all of the little twists that they were adding to trades that made the kind of money I was looking for. I was already in the right direction, but there were quite a few strategies I wasn’t aware of and I hadn’t added the finishing touches that were needed to make consistent profits.  

Now that I have that information, I want to save you the time, energy and frustration that I spent in those exhausting years and set you on the path of becoming a successful trader from day one. The workshop will do exactly that.

Ideally £1000 is a good starting figure although more is better.

What will I need.

A computer, internet connection and a Betfair Exchange account. Even if you are gubbed by Betfair, you can still use the Exchange. (Smarkets will work, but only on high liquidity matches).

How much spare time do I need to trade.

The more time you have the quicker you can be making good regular income. You could spend an hour looking at potential trades for a busy Saturday. During the week 20 minutes should cover this. Executing these trades takes a matter of minutes, however depending on the type of trade you may need to be near a computer/phone to close a trade at a certain point to lock in a profit.

Do I need a basic knowledge of trading.

Absolutely not. If like me you come from a matched betting background you already have the basics. If not you will need to understand the concept of the Betfair Exchange, backing and laying bets. Not difficult and can be done pre workshop.

Will I need to buy anything else.

In short you don’t need to, but there are things that will help. Lets face it, if you were starting a business as a photographer, you would want to invest in an excellent camera and maybe some software. You ARE starting your own business and there are things that will help. I pay a monthly subscription for stats and I use Fairbot (Geeks Toy and Bet Angel do the same thing). These things save me time and money but they are not essential.

Trading strategies. Learn successful trading strategies that are proven to be successful. First Half, Second Half, Losing favourite, Correct Score, Asian Handicap, Value Trades and more.

Research. How to find the matches which are most likely to produce successful results.

Bankroll management. Getting rich quick is not in the vocabulary of any successful trader. Making steady profits most certainly is

Mindset and discipline. The biggest reason why most people fail at trading football. It’s easy to see why, and its a subject that needs a lot of attention.

Staking and protecting liability. Learn how to protect your bank at all costs with specific staking for specific trades. Also some very cleverly calculated ratios when placing some bets to maximise profit and minimise any potential loss.

Which leagues to avoid. Compare the average number of games that end up Over 2.5 goals. Belarus and Germany for example. 27% v 62%. No prizes for guessing which league to avoid looking for goals out of the those two.

Other pitfalls. Red cards, cup games and how to deal with them.

Live trading. Once we have covered all of the above we will look for potential games to trade live.

Take the bible home. Everything that is covered in the workshop will be in writing for you to take home and use as a reference guide until things become crystal clear and second nature. That won’t take too long.

Every workshop will start at 12.00 noon and finish around 9.30pm – 10.00pm, depending on the live trades we get involved in.
